The food is subpar but it's fine. They're getting a new dining service next year so the food is set to be much better. Edit a year later: Food is definitely better now that it's self operated. It's still college dorm food though so don't expect much.

I went to this place for a summer college program, so it was free for me. Therefore I do not know the price of going there. The atmosphere is ok, but if you don't like a lot people crowding up lines, then arrive early ASAP!! They have good quality food, but if you a regular customer, get used to the food options, because they barely change. I'm not picky...so it was great for me!!! You have to walk around and explore this food heaven! There are a ton of food options. You can make your own Panini sandwich, you can have a grilled cheese sandwich, there's a range of salad options, fresh fruit, food prepared from scratch, a different soup everyday, you name it! the options are unlimited. I had a chance to talk to STEVE who is the EXECUTIVE CHEF and he is very helpful and welcoming! The staff is very helpful as well, and make you feel welcome. They serve nearly 1200-1500 people in one meal sitting, 3 meals/day, and all 7 days of the week., so the food here is guaranteed fresh! I ate here almost everyday for 3 weeks and was highly satisfied!
